π Only those who clear Prelims can appear for Mains
3. Personality Test (Interview)

π Final Rank List = Mains Marks (1750) + Interview (275) = 2025 Marks
To appear for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE), candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Nationality

For IAS, IPS, & IFS: Indian citizens only
β
For Other Services: Indian citizens, Nepalese, Bhutanese, or Tibetan refugees
2. Educational Qualification
β
A Bachelorβs Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
β
Final-year students can also apply (subject to degree completion before Mains)
3. Age Limit (As of August 1 of the exam year)
General Category: 21 to 32 years
OBC: 21 to 35 years (3-year relaxation)
SC/ST: 21 to 37 years (5-year relaxation)
4. Number of Attempts
General Category: 6 attempts
OBC: 9 attempts
SC/ST: Unlimited attempts (until age limit)
